Idk why people want the movie to be more serious or horror. The movie is supposed to be comedy and it does exactly that. It's CRAZY. Absolute clean comedy, made for the new generation. It takes every meme and pop culture reference and uses it to give brilliantly timed comedy. Yes, it is lame at times, bit it's so lame that it's funny. It's like a YouTube spoof. Absolutely love it. Too funny.
The acting is overacting, yes, but that's what the script called for and everyone plays the part as required.
