Bad acting, ridiculous storylines, bad wigs, almost a soap opera camera feel, unrealistic plot lines. I hoped this would be similar to Greenleaf but its attempt at a small southern town centralizing around a powerful church community falls short in the first few episodes. Murder, adultery, thug life mixed with bougie life equals a group of characters that would never be able to exist in the real world. The writers seem to have just thrown everything imaginable at their stories and pushed this series over the edge. Horrible. Do not recommend anyone waste time tuning in to this series unless you have items you can throw at the tv without breaking anything because aside from screaming at the characters for being stupid and over the top, the plot twists are completely impossible to follow or believe could happen irl.
