I didn't enjoy this movie

Warning: Spoilers
For starters Andre Cassil (Boyer) who's a writer of plays was a stalker who got on my nerves. I like Boyer in just about everything he's starred in. Not this movie. He was definitely miscast. He's not funny. He first set eyes on Dr. Jane in a theater. She was nodding off I guess throughout the play. Also nodding off while Andre, the play's writer spoke. Well, Jane caught his attention. Blah blah.... He sets out to make Jane his love. Jane wasn't interested. Her life's work is tending to her patients. No time for love and nonsense. The scene that made me hate Boyer's character was when Dr. Jane was in an ambulance on her way to a call at a restaurant. Serious business, someone may be dying. Jane goes into the restaurant who's standing there with a menu in his hand smirking? Andre, I couldn't believe it. The disrespect for a woman doctor back in the day is disgusting. Andre's childish prank made me sick. Sullavan's character was made the fool. Stupid movie and dialogue.
