I enjoyed it, satire of self important, social climbing, (useless) meglomaniac, compensatory narcissist who has accomplished nothing. After watching for years, it strikes me how truly mentally ill Hacinth is. The delusion of her social status, & that othes watch or care about her tiny victories, that no one cares about. The saddest is thst once she had Sheridan, she lost interest in any martial, Physical affection of any sort. Yet she demands obedience & unfailing loyalty from long suffering Richard. It really is pathological. Thinking Emmet, Elizabeth's newly divorced brother has crush on her. It's funny only if you ignore the father of her depravity. Daisy & Onslow polar opposite to zyscinth & Richsrd. VIOLET w cross dressing husband. Man crazy Daisy's w long thin legs. They do mske a rich tapestry.
