Wilson (Ian McShane) is a former British military man who is now an assassin. His mark is on the island of Fuerteventura, a paradise in the Canary Islands. His mark is running late. Wilson decided to play tourist being the only man on the island in a black suit and not a tropical shirt. His nephew Ryan (Adam Nagaitis) shows up to make sure he pulls off the job. While there he meets Gloria (Nora Arnezeder) who shows Wilson the symbolic "American Star" a boat from the WWII era that ran aground. Wilson remarks it is about the same age as he is, making it a metaphor for him.
This is a slow-moving film and doesn't really pick up. Things finally reach their peak at the end when the mark shows up and until then it is nothing but a slow boring drama.
