The story is ok but the pair lack chemistry

Warning: Spoilers
The locations in sunny Spain are quite attractive so that helps this YA show stand our from the others. A guy is depressed because he was driving in an accident that injured his friend and killed another. Later on towards the end of the movie he remembers and we find out his friend distracted him so it isn't his fault like he thinks. Rather cruel the friend didn't let him know earlier. He is about to jump but is distracted by a girl who asks him to go on a trip to Spain to find her biological mother. Later we find out she knew the friend who died and was planning to go with him. Rather bizarrely she asks him to drive a camper around Spain. A man who had a bad accident driving in a foreign country? Turns out she needs an operation. There are some familiar cliches but the characters are not irritating. So the show remains watchable. One let down is when she met her mother in the end they didn't show what they talked about. At least the ending was happy.

Alex Aiono looked a bit too angry for the first part. More like a crime show than a romance show. He was supposed to be sad not that mad. His face didn't convey the right expressions. Virginia Gardner is pleasant without being annoying. Their chemistry seems a bit forced. Didn't really buy the falling in love part they seemed more like friends getting along.
