It's a horror movie that takes place 45,000 years ago. Can't say that I've ever seen that before and I thought they did a fascinating job with what I saw. Could it have been better? Yeah. Maybe. The fact that they made up a dead language for the actors to use is a bit much, but in all honesty, it was very easy to follow the story without any dialogue at all, which is great and rare for contemporary movies. The visual aspects did a great job telling the story.
Nowhere on the level of Quest for Fire, but the horror beats chiming in on a story about the early days of man trying to survive in the wilderness was interesting.
