Cinematography SCREAMS made for tv, in that cheap way only crummy tv movies look.
Acting is horrendous, the main screen is stilted and fake. There is this fake delivery, that as a dame make this sound amateur theater. And there are some great actors in this, however they forgot to hire competent directors. I really cannot get over fake the lead is. Every word coming out of her mouth should have been an immediate "CUT!", succeded by you're fired.
How this could ever be compared to the classic Matador, is beyond me. Well it happens over a number of years, so there is that. But copying that, does not make you Matador.
