Snack Shack offers a refreshing departure from the typical blockbuster movie. This movie took me back (way back) to my younger days. And yes, there was drinking, cussing, and even a fist fight, or two. So if you're uncomfortable with hearing kids drop the f-bomb, and other realities of life, you may want to skip this one.
Central to the film's success are solid performances delivered by the two main characters. There was great chemistry between the two young actors. Keeping my attention these days without the occasional explosion or CGI effect isn't an easy feat, but kudos to the entire cast for doing just that.
