This movie made me feel good.

I'm not one of these guys who's going to rip it apart because it does not measure up to the original (both the original Ghostbusters and Afterlife), but I will say is as much as I liked this film, I really wished this was a follow up to an authentic Ghostbuster 3. I would love to live in that universe, but this universe is pretty good. I really love how they are developing these movies. Not just the kid's physical growth but growth in the story. It makes no sense that the Ghostbusters would be stuck in 1984 and they are not. Especially Winsten Zedmore. This movie and the last really seemed to want to make up for the fact that they kind of dismissed his popularity in the first set of movies to making him the pinpoint to why the Ghostbusters are back in these films.

It was a huge ensemble cast. It was actually cool that so many people were in the movie even though most of them had no importance in the movie, with ofcourse the exception of Bill Muray who felt like they needed to squeeze a man in the film that did not want to be there but I'm sure the paycheck was huge just to say they have all the living Ghostbusters to make this movie cannon. On the other hand, real surprising how Kumail Nanjiani's role actually met something and worked well with a story with a lot of layers to explain the huge cast.

Overall, I enjoyed myself. It was a good combo of feeding me great nostalgia while moving the franchise forward. I actually can't wait to see their Ghostbusters 3.
