Beyond exceptional

This has to be one of Michael Keaton's greatest roles. I do hope he gets an Oscar for this performance. Having lived with two step parents myself who both got advanced dementia, one rapidly like Knox, and saw first hand a person with an excellent mind turn into a vegetable in just a couple years was to say the least heart wrenching. They both died in 2020 one month apart after over 72 years of marriage together. He didn't even know his own wife in the end. This movie directly tells of that kind of experience when one's mind is getting ripped from your head. Getting lost, forgetting everything, not knowing what stuff is etc. He does take care of "setting his house in order" very well with his good friend Xavier, and manages to save his only son in the process. You will tear up as the movie nears its climax. Especially if you have experienced dementia in your life yourself. Awesome story, awesome actors. Well worth several watches. No nudity, some mild sexual content and a few cuss words, some blood and violence but nothing is too graphic to keep from the kids. No questionable content except a few words of nonsense regarding pronouns which was very brief. Enjoy!!
