Mickey was released by Toni Basil in 1981, but I didn't know until some internet searching that it was first recorded by the British pop group Racey in 1979 as Kitty, and all credit to Toni Basil for the enduring popularity of the song after 40 years, and the fact that is has over 300 imdb user votes says something init. Anyway, I remember Mickey was played over the end credits of the movie Bring it On, where there were outtakes to bring the audience to laughter. Anyway, this song has a memorable beat and isn't easy to forget, and it can play in your mind pretty much when you start to play it in your mind.
