Blur is a new Aussie horror film out on Amazon, and all up it's pretty cool. It does the woman trapped in an apartment by a demon idea slowly but there's always something weird or interesting to keep you watching. It starts in the desert with a character taking the picture of a Demon statue, that's right out of "exorcist' she gets home and oh oh, she's suddenly the target of this demon's wrath or something. A terrific murder happens that's very Argento - like. It also echoes 'Psycho' . Then the leading lady and a suspicious cop lead is through the rest of the film. There's some creepy scenes. One with a body-horror vibe and another with a floating poltergeist knife that's quite original. It's not a fast film. And has it's slow parts but the leading actress is very watchable and visually the film is amazing for the low budget effort it clearly is.
