"A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge" isn't as bad as its reputation. This movie has never been anyone's favorite but it's not that bad either. It's a hit and miss affair. Some "Freddy's Revenge" doesn't work that well but other scenes are pretty effective. It takes a little while to get going and the ending isn't the greatest but the stuff in between is pretty good. A big problem that this movie has a hard time overcoming is the cast. It's not the greatest. They're just not that appealing. A more likeable set of actors would have gone a long way in making "Freddy's Revenge" a better watch.
