I've watched the film twice now. The first time it seemed like a collection of random events and images. On the second time, it became more a story of how any of us, be it a painter or a baker, could struggle with the ordinary mishaps of life. We all become lost, muddle into weird relationships, suffer loss, make friends in unusual ways, make colossal mistakes and fall in love.
I like this film has all that and does it with characters who aren't hero's but are not ordinary, but rather extraordinary random people who can be any of us. It's a creative collage and for me it strikes me as sad, awkward, beautiful and funny with out needing a crazy plot or special effects.
