The Swamp Thing reimagined as a Saturday Morning Cartoon, with all the common archetypes from the genre: The kid sidekicks, the G. I. Joe-esque vehicles, the incompetent goons at the service of the villain, the environmentalist lessons...
Sure, it's cheesy. But it's kind of cheesy fun which is actually pretty enjoyable to watch, despite its many differences with the source material.
Shame it was so short-lived (It was even shorter than Fish Police!), since this could have been a much better ecological cartoon for the 90s than Captain Planet. Or at least much more fondly remembered, since Swamp Thing is way cooler than that corny character.
The theme song was quite awesome, nobody can deny that.
