who was the schizo..?
13 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This story was awkwardly written and acted. I kept expecting Jeremy to be the schizophrenic and that all the scenes were him in a delusional state imagining himself as someone else named Scott. There was absolutely no chemistry between any of the actors.

The parents' storyline was weird and disjointed. Elliott's character was completely unbelievable. No doctor would ever advance a possible diagnosis of Schizophrenia without proper examination. And subsequently, no hospital would allow divulging and discussing a patient's condition with unrelated person.

They look for him everywhere and can't find him, then we see a sandwich and water left in an alley and all of a sudden he appears and then runs off - and it happens again - what..?

What about Elliot, where did he come from all of a sudden and where did he go? Dad is left sleeping in his truck..? Mom's writing checks...for what? What about the failing business and did they ever go to dinner..? It is almost as if entire scenes were tossed and the whole ending deleted from the final film.

If this was a gay love story - then it failed.

If this was a schizophrenia awareness story - then it failed.

If this was a psychological drama - then it failed.

If this was an expression of college age angst - well, then I am lost, because if have no idea what that means.

If this was a meant to be confusing and a complete waste of time - then it succeeded.
