Good to see Francis Ford in the lead role!

Warning: Spoilers
Not copyright in the U.S.A. by Ivor McFadden Productions. New York release through Anchor Film Distributors: 1 September 1922. California release through Aywon Distributors. Los Angeles opening: 27 October 1922. 5 reels. 4,587 feet.

COMMENT: The back cover copy of Alpha's excellent DVD (which also features the nowhere near as well-made Ace of Clubs), tells us that Francis Ford was the elder brother of director John Ford and that he acted in some 400 films. It's great to see him as the main lead of this interesting little western that is not only capably produced, directed and photographed but that features one of our favorite villains, Bob Kortman, in a major role.
