Valiant. I’m not sure what happened here. After being blessed with three mind bending and rapturous issues of Divinity that I have covered here each and every month:
1. Divinity #1 Review
2. Matt Kindt’s Divinity Gauntlet | Valiant Divinity #2 Review
3. Divinity #3 review – Behold the Man
… I’m not sure what to make of Divinity #4, the concluding chapter of the first Divinity miniseries. More and more the title to my third review seems more apt here or now. So let me start with what I am sure about.
I don’t really care about David Camp. A character we were introduced to the first issue of the mini, seeming destined for a grand purpose, and at the time, many thought was perhaps in some way Abrams or his child, does in some way become his first child, a first apostle, and forms what looks like another group in a Valiant world overrun by groups,...

Matt Kindt seamlessly goes from solo street level corporate espionage adventures of Ninjak to Valiant comics cosmic with the third issue of Divinity, where one becomes three, twice, and where Kindt and Trevor Hairsine takes us where no man has gone before.
That there were two more members on the mission with Abram makes sense, I pointed out visual evidence of that possibility in my review of Divinity #2, and the number 3 tends to be symbolic in a lot of ways, including in religious discourse. It strikes me that they are all conveniently color coded, Abram is red, a female is orange, another man is either black or gray. Now Valiant fans will scurry to find characters in other titles wearing those as accents.
At the moment of truth, we get a glimpse of a woman, who everyone in Valiant fandom … okay just me wants to associate with Mothergod, which coincidentally...

Ever notice Ben Kingsley is either trying to destroy the world or trying to save it?
Behold the man who helped do “absolute good” in Schindler’s List and Gandhi as he shifts into absolute bad mode for Iron Man 3 as the international terrorist known as The Mandarin.
Comic book readers are very familiar with Tony Stark’s multi-ringed nemesis, but those who know this corner of the Marvel universe only from the movies can now bow their heads in subjugation before a new acquaintance.
Check out the full image below, along with a new poster for the film.

A classic Spanish fresco painting of Jesus Christ has been ruined after a restoration attempt. An elderly parishioner shocked cultural officials after she made a well-intended but unauthorised go at restoring the piece of art. Ecce Homo (Behold the Man) by Elias Garcia Martinez has been inside the Sanctuary of Mercy Church near Zaragoza for over 100 years. The lady - who is in her 80s - reportedly painted over it as it had degraded over the years due to moisture in the church. The original painting of Jesus Christ has now been buried underneath the woman's childlike portrait, described as "a crayon sketch of a very hairy monkey in an ill-fitting tunic" by BBC News. Art experts are now expected to decide how to attempt (more)...
