The unbelievable but true saga of Lt. Sam Magill & I & R Platoon of 329th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Infantry Division negotiating the largest surrender in history of WWI. His small surviving platoon of 12 marched 20,000 German troops over France to the banks of Loire River where General Major Elster surrendered to Major General Macon. Winston Churchill said"Never have so many surrendered to so few".
