First up, the panel is presented with three gentlemen who claim to be newspaper advice columnist, Mr. Henry Maco. However, the panel must discern if the genuine Mr. Maco is one adult man or two adolescent boys. Tom Poston, Suzy Parker and Sam Levenson correctly peg the young man who writes the column. In the second round, three elegant ladies assert they are Miss Lorraine Trester, a mink rancher. Mr. Levenson and Miss Carlisle determine the true woman. Finally, three gentlemen are allegedly Mr. Jacob Feldman, a Peace Corps volunteer. Tom Poston, Sam Levenson and Kitty Carlisle peg the right gentleman as Mr. Feldman.

In the first round, the panel must determine just who is the real Elizabeth Rudell Smith, Treasurer of the United States. Kitty Carlisle is the only one on the panel to discern the current Treasury Secretary. In the next round, the group is presented with three pairs of father and son duos, each of whom asserts they are Dave and George Sisler, the son Dave, a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates presently and his father, George, another major league player a generation ago. Tom Poston is the sole panelist to identify the true father and son baseball players. Finally, three ladies allege that they are Miss Midge Moore, a fishing boat captain. This time, both Tom Poston and Kitty Carlisle correctly peg the authentic Midge Moore.

First up, the group is presented with three gentlemen, all claiming to be Heinrich Herrer, the author of the best-selling, "Seven Years In Tibet." Miss Emerson, Mr. Carson, and Miss Carlisle all successfully identify the real Mr. Herrer. Next up, three ladies who allege they are Mrs. Marcia Schwartz, World War II war bride, and blackjack dealer. Johnny Carson is the sole panelist to identify the genuine Mrs. Schwartz. Finally, round three presents Mr. Bob Fisher, sailplane pilot, who crossed the United States. Kitty Carlisle is the sole panelist to peg the authentic Mr. Fisher correctly.

In an unusual beginning to this evening's show, there are three panelists on deck - Tom Poston, Betty White, and Johnny Carson. The fourth will join them as soon as she is identified as a contestant in the first round. The three ladies on stage allegedly are Miss Margo Moser, currently starring on Broadway in the long-running smash musical, "My Fair Lady." Miss Moser plays Eliza Doolittle, and Betty White is the sole panelist to identify the young lady correctly. As Moss Hart, Kitty Carlisle's husband directed the show when it premiered in March 1956, Miss Carlisle thought it prudent to disqualify herself this evening. Miss Moser joins the panel and the second round begins. The group must discern the correct gentleman, Mr. John J. McGee, submarine hero. The team is stumped completely. Finally, the four panelists are presented with three gentlemen who claim to be Mr. Richard Smith; beautician and hair stylist turned professional wrestler. Again, nary a member of the panel guesses correctly and they are completely stumped. Host Bud Collyer thanks Miss Moser for her appearance this evening as both contestant and panelist.

Tom Poston, Jayne Meadows, Johnny Carson and Kitty Carlisle are this evening's panelists. First up, the panel is presented with three gentlemen who claim to be Mr. Harold Graham, a rocket traveler. He packs an engine of considerable weight which propels him to fly for about 35 feet aloft. The panel is fascinated by Mr. Graham's invention and Mr. Poston and Miss Meadows correctly identify the genuine Mr. Graham. In the second round, the group is presented with two women and a gentleman, all of whom assert that they are Jo(e) Thornton, Native American, and world champion archer. Miss Carlisle is the sole panelist to peg Mister Joe Thornton though Mr. Poston disqualifies himself for recognizing pretending to be Miss Jo Thornton. Finally, the panel is fascinated, yet again, with the final contestant this evening - Mr. Henry Gross, a water dowser, complete with his divining rod in tow. Tom Poston, Jayne Meadows, and Kitty Carlisle accurately select the real Mr. Gross. Host and moderator, Bud Collyer, selects Tom Poston to assist Mr. Gross in a demonstration with his beguiling implement. A fascinated and enthusiastic panel and audience watch as Mr. Collyer indicates where in the studio are the water pipes. Mr. Gross allows Mr. Poston to handle the dowsing rod and it, 'like magic,' as is noted, points to the source of water within the building's walls - Mr. Poston amazed that he had no control over the movement of the forced stick.

In the first round, the panel is presented with three gentlemen who allegedly are Mr. Leon Plunk, a bad luck steeplejack. Much is made by Mr. Plunk's surname, but, ultimately, Miss Carlisle and Miss Falkenburg identify the correct Mr. Plunk. The second round presents three young ladies who claim to be Kathy Lusner, world champion, high-jump equestrian. Tom Poston and Kitty Carlisle peg the correct Miss Lusner. Finally, the panel must discern who is bridge teacher and card expert, Bill Rudin. This time, the panel is not fooled and is unanimous in ferreting out the authentic card sharp. Bill Rudin.

The gentlemen on the panel are in for a treat in the first round, when three young ladies appear on stage, in swimsuits. They allege one of them is Miss Martha Maxwell, posture queen as determined by the National Society of Chiropractors. Tom Poston and Kitty Carlisle peg the right young lady. Next up, three gentlemen who assert they are Vincent P. Dupois, captain of the largest nuclear submarine, the Enterprise. Mr. Poston, Miss White, and Miss Carlisle discern the authentic Captain Dupois. In the final round, a man and two ladies claim to be Marion Peck, small town news reporter and owner and operator of two private fire departments. Betty White, Johnny Carson and Kitty Carlisle peg the WOMAN reporter and Firehouse owner.

Ralph Bellamy, Betty White, Johnny Carson and Kitty Carlisle are the panelists on this bittersweet broadcast. Host and moderator, Bud Collyer, welcomes Mr. Bellamy back after nearly a year's absence. The panel is presented, in the first round, with three gentlemen, claiming to be Mr. Davey Moore, professional boxer, and the world champion in the featherweight division. Mr. Bellamy, Mr. Carson, and Miss Carlisle peg the real champ. Next up, three young ladies who assert they are Miss Rebecca Garner, trainer of circus animals. Betty White, Johnny Carson and Kitty Carlisle all determine the demure Miss Garner. The last round presents three gentlemen who allegedly are Mr. Charles Howard. Mr. Howard is the dean of a school for "Santa Clauses," what with the holiday season in full throttle. Mr. Bellamy and Miss Carlisle are spot on in identifying Mr. Howard. Finally, in a very poignant closing to the show, Bud Collyer reads a lovely poem he has penned for Kitty Carlisle. She is moving to California with her family and, consequently, is forced to leave the show. Ironically and, very sadly, Miss Carlisle's husband, Broadway producer, and director, Moss Hart, dies two weeks later, so will Miss Carlisle return to New York City and her popular place on the panel? Bud Collyer welcomes the panel and introduces Cecil Underwood, the very first contestant on the series. No one on the panel this evening was present that December 1956 evening, so they're at a loss, though Dina Merrill, Johnny Carson, and Betty White peg the authentic Mr. Underwood. As well, a gentleman impersonating Mr. Underwood five years before reprises his role as impostor tonight. The next round presents three young ladies who allege they are Miss Bonnie Guitar; a best-selling recording artist turned female jockey. Betty White is the only panelist to determine the true Bonnie Guitar. Finally, three gentlemen are presented, claiming to be Mr. Harold Baker; expert billiard instructor turned barber. The panel is stumped, and the three men have one thousand dollars to split among them.

Bud Collyer welcomes the panel, and they are presented with round one - three men who claim to be Nathan Boyer, the courageous man who went over Niagra Falls. The group appears puzzled, but Tom Poston, Dina Merrill and Johnny Carson peg the correct contestant. Next up, three women assert that they are Miss Clarice Richardson, 1961 Champion Cowgirl. Again, the panel is bemused, but Tom Poston and Dina Merrill correctly identify the authentic Miss Richardson. Finally, the group has to determine who of the three gentlemen presented are Mr. John M. Steele, World War II Paratrooper - whose role in the Second War will be depicted in the epic film, "The Longest Day." Mr. Collyer reveals that Mr. Steele will be played by the Oscar-winning actor, Red Buttons. Tom Poston is having a third crown evening, for him and Johnny Carson are the only two on the panel to identify accurately Mr. Steele.

Tom Poston, Dina Merrill, Johnny Carson and Peggy Cass are this evening's panelists. First up, three women are presented to the panel as Dorothy Sara, handwriting analysis expert; Indeed, host and moderator, Bud Collyer, read each of Miss Sara's analyses of the four panelists before the three ladies take their seats. Despite Miss Cass's script displaying a high level of intuition, Tom Poston is the only member of the group to identify the authentic Miss Sara accurately. Next up, three gentlemen are presented as a member of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Michael A. Musmanno and author of, " Ten Ways to Die," which deals with the 1946 Nuremberg trials. The panel is unanimous in identifying the real Judge Musmanno. Finally, three young ladies claim to be Miss Anne Sidlauskas, the National College Coeds' Pocket Billiards Champion. This is Mr. Poston's evening, for, yet again, he identifies the real young woman who holds that title. Mr. Poston has been correct in every round tonight. Bud Collyer announces that he's off on vacation for a few weeks and that Merv Griffin will be substituting for him in the interim.

Merv Griffin substitutes for Bud Collyer again this evening. Tom Poston, Dina Merrill, Johnny Carson and Peggy Cass are tonight's panelists. First up, three gentleman who claim to be the Presidential bodyguard, Gerald Bain. Though all three are very convincing, it is Tom Poston and Peggy Cass who correctly identify the man who protects President Kennedy. Next up are three young ladies, all of whom assert that they are Miss Agatha Johnson, a ship's mess boy. Dina Merrill, who claims to know nothing about this topic, knew enough to determine who the authentic Agatha Johnson is. Finally, three distinguished gentlemen who present themselves as Mr. Robert Allen Porter, the expert on the nearly extinct whooping crane. Though all three are very convincing, Dina Merrill, Johnny Carson, and Peggy Cass peg the genuine Mr. Porter. Merv Griffin thanks the panel and announces Bud Collyer's return next week.

In the first round, the panel is presented with three women, all of whom claim to be the mother of the celebrated pianist, Van Cliburn, winner of the 1958 International Tchaikovsky Piano Competition in Moscow at the height of the Cold War. Though the three ladies are very convincing, Mr. Poston, Miss Benzell and Mr. Carson correctly identify the real mother of the classic musician. Next up, three gentlemen allege they are Mr. James Ramsey Ullman, author, and mountaineer, slated to join the 1963 expedition climbing Mount Everest. Again, Tom Poston, Mimi Benzell, and Johnny Carson peg the correct author and mountaineer. Finally, the panel is asked to identify the woman who claims to be Margaret Smith, choreographer of the Ringling' Brothers circus. The panel is less fortunate this time out as they are all stumped completely in their attempt to identify the Miss Smith.

The first round presents three gentlemen who claim to be Hal Ketchum, the creator of several comic strips, his most famous being "Dennis, The Menace." The two gentlemen on the panel, Tom Poston, and Johnny Carson, correctly discern the real creator of the comic strip. In the second round, the group is asked to identify the director of the world's largest zoo, the Bronx Zoo. Betty Furness is the sole panelist who correctly selects the handsome Mr. William Conway, the youngest director of any zoo in the United States. In the final round, three ladies are presented as Aline Mosby, a female foreign correspondent who has covered several world events in recent years. Betty Furness recognizes the woman and disqualifies herself. Tom Poston is the only panel member to identify correctly Miss Moseby, who has just written a book based on her experiences.
