Albert Haddock is back in court arguing that it was perfectly legitimate to pay his taxes by floating a cheque in a bottle down the Thames, since the Thames has a long tradition of being a normal channel for commercial activity.
Haddock reads the Weekly Argus and thinks astrologist Sagittarius is plausible. He later learns his wife lost £100 on the stock exchange listening to Sagittarius. Haddock believes he misleading, false and deceptive and takes him to court.
