Little budget and claustrophobic love drama with nice performances
ma-cortes4 June 2021
A young man , Juan Diego , left his girlfriend : Tony Carceller in Madrid and goes to a relative's house to celebrate Christmas and he meets three female members : Maruchi Fresno , Irene Daima , Veronica Luján , all of them fall for him, but then things go wrong .

It deals with a love drama starred by a young who becomes involved with three women of different ages seeking to advance their romantic loves . An acceptable and passable but claustrophobic drama with erotic background about twisted love stories including a final twist . Here stands out the decent interpretations from the nice starring quartet : Juan Diego , Irene Daima , Maruchi Fresno , and the youngest Veronica Luján . Along with Javier De Campos as their moron assistant . It packs atmospheric cinematography by Leopoldo Villaseñor , though a perfect remastering being really necessary and shot on location in Madrid surroundings: Navacerrada, El Pardo roundabouts , Pozuelo de Alarcon , Madrid . As well as atmospheric musical score by Fernando García Morcillo . This short-budgeted motion picture was professionally directed by Eloy de la Iglesia, though it has some flaws , failures and gaps , being heavily cut by the strict Spanish Censorship. Eloy was a good director who made films of various genres with penchant for thrillers, such as : No One Heard The Scream, The Glass Ceiling , The Cannibal, Murder in a Blue World , and for Delinquents or Quinqui genre, such as : Colegas , Navajeros , Estanquera Vallecas , Pico I and II , among others . Rating : 5.5/10 . Exclusively for Eloy De La Iglesia completists .
