Bloody Wormy Sorcery

Warning: Spoilers
When it comes down to it, and things start to get bloody, and sorcerers come out to play, you can make a safe bet that I'm peeking through those curtains to get a better look. But sometimes when those blood-filled, sorceryfied things are done in a not so amusing and flashy type way, they end up being less than stellar. And unfortunately, for this lowly piece of work (me), Bloody Sorcery was not up to snuff and most certainly not up to the gore-filled magical levels I was so hoping it'd reach.

Still here? The flick revolves around a dude who's suffering from a curse. Happens to meet a doctor, whose Pops is also suffering from a curse. Low and behold, the curse that strickens both dudes was laid down on them by the same dark master of the arts. And this dark lord of the magic realm has serious problems letting things slide. All in all, the guy is just a pretty big douche. Even when his pleading, bleeding, crying daughter wishes him to stop he still stays head-strong about his vengeful ways. So, the story follows the formula of watching the victims struggle with being cursed, and watching the victims devise a plan to see if they can save their scaredy cat butts. That's about it.

Still reading? Wow, you're a loser. So yeah, the flick has a fine and dandy plot with some fine and dandy black magic curses floating around. The film doesn't lie, it's called Bloody Sorcery and it delivers some bloody sorcery. They even up the anty and toss in loads of squirming worms to the bloody sorcery. The flick really should have been called Bloody Wormy Sorcery, since most of the bloody sorcery has worms writhing around in it. But as I was saying, the flick is alright, but that's all it is. Sure it's occasionally funny, occasionally bloody, wormy, sorcery and even sexy (there's bewbs!), but it's also nothing spectacular for fans of this sub-genre. I do recommend it, but only to people who really enjoy watching black magic flicks.
