If you're getting you're Christmas wishlist together, and loved the second Maze Runner film, it's time to update. 20th Century Fox has announced The Scorch Trials blu-ray is coming this December with a slew of special features for fans to enjoy.
I really enjoyed The Scorch Trials. I know not everyone loved it as it veered pretty far from the source material, but I had a great time with it. I enjoyed that it took an entirely different approach from the previous film, while still building the world up. As such, I'm definitely excited about picking this one up when it hits blu-ray on December 15th. Check out all the details below:
The Maze was just the beginning. After the harrowing adventure of escaping the maze, the Gladers find themselves right in the center of an epic mystery in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, available on Blu-ray and DVD December...

BBC’s The Musketeers Friends and Enemies TV Show Review. The Musketeers: Season 1, Episode 1: Friends and Enemies began a not thoroughly original take on Alexander Duma’s famous tales. Review Rob Kemp 26 Jan 2014 - 22:00
The Musketeers continues with a fun, exciting episode that has Rob quietly optimistic for the series...
This review contains spoilers.
1.2 Sleight Of Hand
Last week I wondered if the BBC would have a problem filling Sherlock’s timeslot with something as equally entertaining and special. At the time I didn’t think they did, (have a problem that is) although I was concerned that in retelling such a well-known story the audience might lose interest when the initial fascination died down. After all, despite the peril, we can be pretty confident that each story will start and end with the same number of Musketeers. It’s the journey then, that’s important and in this The Musketeers is proving to be fun, exciting and exactly what we need on a Sunday evening.
It’s in the smaller moments where this episode excels. That’s...

The Amazing Spider-man in 3D
3D Blu-Ray/Blu-Ray/DVD + Ultraviolet Digital Copy
2012/Rated PG-13/Running Time 136 mins – List Price: $55.99
It was time for a change. Despite the fact that many fans hoped director Sam Raimi and Sony Pictures would work out their differences to produce a fourth Spider-man feature, the studio decided to go another way, rebooting the franchise completely. When Spider-man opened ten years ago in the Spring of 2002, it was a bit of a surprise that after 25 years in developmental hell, audiences strongly craved to see the famous comic book superhero on the big screen more than any other. Becoming the first film to gross $100 million in a single weekend, its box-office success proved that not only was it worth the wait, but fans had finally got the proper Spider-man film they’d been waiting decades for.

You guys don't need me to tell you how awesome Indiana Jones is. Raiders of the Lost Ark is, in my eyes, a completely perfect film, Temple of Doom is flawed but still somewhat enjoyable, The Last Crusade may be the most purely entertaining of the bunch, and while The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull is a movie I personally never want to visit again, it has its defenders around the web. This is one of the most iconic film franchises of all time, and it's finally available so you can see it in the best possible way (aside from a movie theater screen): on Blu-ray.
If you'd like more of my thoughts on each of the movies, my former Not Just New Movies Podcast co-host and I wrote reviews of every movie recently, so you can find those at the following links: Raiders, Temple, Crusade, Skull. But you're...

Hollywood’s reboot of the science-fiction comic book franchise, The Amazing Spider-Man shows the superhero closer to his roots.

You don't need me to once again rehash the same old story about how "The Untold Story" was missing from The Amazing Spider-Man. As has been pointed out numerous times, there were some major changes made to the film with several seemingly prominent scenes removed. Well, it appears as if the Blu-ray will rectify that as the The British Board of Film Classification have today classified the special features which will be contained on the disc and that includes over thirteen minutes of deleted scenes. Below is the full list. • 00:13:05:07 Rite Of Passage - The Amazing Spider-man Reborn • 00:15:17:13 Friends And Enemies - Casting • 00:11:22:02 Second Skins - Spidey And The Lizard • 00:16:34:24 Spidey Goes West - Production - Los Angeles • 00:15:25:15 Safe Haven - Production - Sony Studios • 00:09:30:13 Bright Tight Big City - Production -...

We’ve got two new clips from this week’s episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, “Friends and Enemies”.
The clips both feature Cad Bane, one of the best new characters introduced to the Star Wars universe through the CG series. With nearly four seasons completely in the history books, The Clone Wars continues to impress with outstanding visuals, fluid animations, excellent story arcs and great voice acting. The expanded Star Wars mythos continues to impress and with Cad Bane’s return, now is as good a time as any to tune in.

We're all about "Harry Potter" this week at MTV Movies Blog, and we figured there is no better way to celebrate the beginning of the end of the beloved franchise than by looking back at the six previous films.
So each day this week we'll be providing recaps of the earlier "Harry Potter" movies. Consider them a kind of affectionate Cliff's Notes and a much-need refresher to prepare for the November 19 release of "Deathly Hallows: Part 1." Today, we kick things off with a fond look back at the first two films, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets."
It seems like just yesterday that we were introduced to 11-year-old Harry Potter, an orphan with a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead forced by his aunt and uncle to live in the closet under the stairs. He has since gone on to become one of...

This week’s episode, Friends and Enemies, got the fourth season of Burn Notice off to a flying start.
It picked up where season three concluded, with Michael having just been taken out of handcuffs and placed in a really nicely appointed room. In the tradition of Burn Notice, it also introduced a new puppet master in the form of Vaughn. While Vaughn is the nicest puppet master we have seen to date, it is still clear that someone is pulling Michael’s strings.
For me, this episode was like seeing an old friend I had not talked to in several months, or slipping on my favorite jacket. Everything fit just right. Michael was his normal badass self, Fiona was her crazy but sexy hot self, and Michael’s mom Madeline still worries about her son.
I do have to mention that it looked like Sam might have hit a salon,...

Michael Westen is in trouble again. What else is new?
Well, another season of Burn Notice is new. But Michael Westen's problems are just the same. Last season, we found out that the mysterious group Management is behind Michael Westen's (Jeffrey Donovan) banishment from the CIA and therefore trapping him in Miami. But in Thursday's Season 4 opener "Friends and Enemies," we find out that another super organization that's in charge of Management are really the ones behind Michael's burn notice. They were also the group who kidnapped Michael at the end of last season.

The last time we saw Michael Weston (Jeffrey Donovan), he was being led through a dark, dank hallway with a bag over his head. Uh oh. Our boy is going to be tortured! Or worst, thrown into a dark hole and left for all of eternity! As it turns out, not so much. Michael’s “cell” wasn’t all that uncomfortable, actually, so what the hell is going on? Check out how Season 4 begins (hint: it takes place exactly after the Season 3 finale) with two sneak peek clips and two promos that show Michael already back in the swing of things and blowing stuff up with badass girlfriend Fiona (Gabrielle Anwar) and trustworthy sidekick Sam (Bruce Campbell). “Burn Notice” Season 4 begins next week on June 3 on the USA Network with the episode “Friends and Enemies”.
