This movie is exactly what the title says -- testimonials from women, doctors and others who lived in the time when abortion was illegal everywhere in the USA. It's not only what happened to women who experienced abortion in those times, but also what happened to women who became pregnant and desperately did not want to be, for whatever reason, no matter what action they did or didn't take as a result. Not only are the illegal abortions horrific, but so are the women forced to carry pregnancies to term and forced to give up babies for adoption. The way all of these women were treated by doctors and others is jaw-dropping. For anyone who wonders what will happen if abortion is outlawed, this film will tell you, in explicit detail.
