Worst movie ever ! "Plan 9..." is real art compared to this one
imdb-com-70222 February 2007
Flat story, totally weird and unrealistic, even worse sound, lighting, cutting, camera, equipment and costumes, no cliché left out, and no natural dialog. A rally race car scene in the Alps with goofs in cutting (driving direction), over-speeding view like in bad 60ies movies, and completely differing color material (taken from an other movie?) is inserted, which makes completely no sense, except that the director follows the script. Two US stars shall rescue the movie, but at least with the "fall into wild-water/rescue from the killer" scenes in the end this movie fails completely. It could not have been good even if Sean C, Sly S, Chuck N, Orson W, Marlon B, Jack N, Morgan F, and all the other guys together would have acted.

There is NO reason to recommend this film but as a bad example for every film academy. So, viewers: switch - FAST! PROs: record it, watch carefully!

American stars in Austria!

What a pleasant surprise to see US-stars George Hamilton and Morgan Fairchild in this fine piece of modern "Heimatfilm". Their appearance gives the picture a touch of class and glamour: especially Hamilton as Count Heinrich (in genuine Bavarian clothing!) is excellent as he turns out he be the hero in the end.

Charming Austrian love story and drama
seosamh-121 July 2007
If you live in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, you will appreciate this movie very much. Don't try and compare this one with an American one. It reflects the way of life, humor and beautiful country side in Austria. Take it for what it is- it is a charming German/Austrian production with German speaking actors and two Americans whose voices are dubbed into German which is rather unusual. Sit back and enjoy this film and don't forget these people are Austrians and not American! German speaking audiences will love this one. I wonder if this has been dubbed into English. It would be nice to hear them speaking in a German /Austrian accent.
