De Cock and his team investigate the murder of a man found in a gay meeting area. It looks like an intimate meeting gone awry, and Buitendam deems controlling the Russian mafia to be a higher priority. Then, one of the suspects commits suicide, and an old case of blackmail is uncovered.

A confused Vledder is found near the body of a shot man, with traces of gun powder on his hand and his fingerprints on the murder weapon. De Cock can't believe that he committed the murder, and continues to investigate the murder even though another team is already working on it. It turns out that the other team is led by a vengeful former colleague of De Cock.
