A science fiction author murdered by aliens - impossible!
Turan23 October 2001
Ludwigshafen, 1997: a not-so-good science fiction writer disappears. His wife claims he was in contact with aliens. Kommissarin Odenthal believes in a very normal murder case, although she gets several anonymous tip-offs in all-too strange telephone calls. The end is very surprising and enough for a good laugh.

P.S. The disappeared writer is played by Dietmar Schönherr. In 1965 Schönherr played the main part in the German science fiction serial "Raumpatrouille".

Nice Tatort-episode, especially if you are an appreciating sf, and not always seriously

Warning: Spoilers
Very nice Tatort-episode with Hauptkommissar Lena Odenthal. Celibraty-appearances of Dietmar Schönherr who played in the 1965 cult German science fiction serial "Raumpatrouille Orion" and cult-rock-singer Nina Hagen (I love her!!!). About the episode: A science fiction writer disappears. His wife claims he had contact with aliens. Kommissarin Lena Odenthal, not into sf-things at all, believes in a very normal murder case. Although she gets several anonymous tip-offs in all-too strange telephone calls she remains to be a non-believer. In the end, after seeing a Watertower change into an alien spaceship, her perception might have change a bit! This Lena-Odenthal-Tatort-episode is very surprising and one of the better ones.
