Well-written soap opera
lor_10 August 2022
This edition of the successful series pays attention to each of its principal characters, rather than merely using them cogs in an otherwise all-sex porn video. Acting down the line is very fine.

Randy West stars alongside superstar Ashlyn Gere as talk-show hosts at a country music radio station WALL, each hosting call-in shows. Station ratings are way down, with the host played in the previous episode by Tracey Adams replaced by Gere. Ashlyn has just received her doctorate in psychology (she will host a sex advice show), and celebrates by having sex with her professor Steve Drake.

West's marriage is on the rocks, as he argues with spouse Stephanie Page (a relatively obscure porn actress, notable for big natural breasts). He fears being fired soon, and she seeks solace elsewhere, cheating on him with a rival station manager, played as a real heel by Tom Chapman.

Other subplots involve regular listeners, such as Peter North as an irritable caller who criticizes both West and newbie Gere for giving bad advice. He finally comes around when beautiful P. J. Sparxx wins over the irascible guy, and is the beneficiary of one of his copious long-distance cum shots.

The ups and downs of the careers and romances of these characters is quite enjoyable, balanced by the quality sex footage enacted by such famous pros. A nice touch is a sequence where Gere has a "masturbation hour" where self-pleasure is the topic, and director Jerry Ross presents cross-cutting between five beauties masturbating at home.

As before in the series, Talk Radio and talking dirty for sex are a compatible combination.
