Riding very high in the porn world with his sci-fi epics "Latex" and "Shock", Michael Ninn was afforded a big budget by Adult Cinema standards for this visually impressive exercise in the lucrative alt-gonzo series for major label VMCA.

Cast alone is a who's who of some of the most striking female stars of this VHS era: a dozen who merited top billing in their own vehicles, including top Euro imports like Roxanne Hall, Lea Martini, Vicca and Nikita.

It's all about SPFX, especially those imitating "The Mask" involving Ron Jeremy, overacting miserably in black face as the pimp succeeding Jack Baker In the role. Baker gets a tribute credit at the end, RIP.

The sci-fi "plot" is token, merely Scotty Schwartz creating perfect women (robot, android or cyborg?) as a next generation of hookers for evil mastermind Jamie Gillis, and Jeremy a fantasy character who is consistently embarrassing. Ninn wants to offend, so he also stages a blow bang with 3 Japanese characters, played by Chatsworth porn studs outfitted with those awful buck teeth and thick spectacles favored by Jerry Lewis at his worst.

The series of ten XXX scenes are a terrific showcase of the femme talent -on this "all-sex" level the movie is an unqualified success. Fetish costume nurses Jeanna Fine and Anna Malle are wonderful throughout, including their IR threesome with masked Sean Michaels (in which Jeanna demonstrates her nonpareil deep-throat technique on Sean previously displayed in John Stagliano's "Wild Goose Chase") as well as their lesbian threesome with Sunset Thomas.

Sex in an elevator with Juli Ashton, cast as female lead as Gillis's assistant Webster, is a memorable Sapphic threesome with Felecia and Asia Carrera wearing fetish military caps. Late in the feature Juli literally lets her hair down at a business meeting, and services porn's grand old man Dave Cummings and everyman Eric Monte in an offbeat threesome.

The Euro porn stars shine especially a Ninn favorite Vicca as cyborg with black angel wings giving Peter North a blow job for film's finale as well as her blow-bang with three studs earlier on. Lea Martini and Nikita have a cartoonish threesome with Euro stalwart Bruno SX styled in a clown suit.

Not to be outdone, VCA superstar Stacy Valentine gets a threesome, and as a lady in red, Golden Age icon Sharon Kane has dildo sex with Gillis.

It all adds up, like scores of subsequent Ninn features, to a whole lot of sizzle but very little steak.

The original New Wave Hookers was the first adult movie I saw, and this was the first sequel of it that I've had a chance to see. I was surprised at first at the special effects (pretty tame by Hollywood standards, but amazing for an adult movie), and was drawn in by the hot, sexy women engaged in some of the wildest, kinkiest acts I've ever seen on tape. Ron Jeremy even makes an appearance as comic relief, although he does seem to try to hard to be a hardcore Jim Carrey. All in all, it's a hot movie, with gorgeous women having kinky sex, and it's definitely one of the favourites in my little collection.

It's a Ninn movie so the setting looks bleak, industrial, dark and technological. Felecia opens it in a lesbian threesome and she has a fantastic erotic look: dressed in a strict black operator suit with a cap, she helps Asia Carrera to enjoy Juli Asthon: maybe the action is not that hot and rich but this agressive, dominant Felecia in this foggy place is just amazing for me. The movie has another scene with 2 others of my vixens: Léa Martini (#25) and Nikita Gross (#52) but this one is a total opposite: colored with a clown (!) and so it's a complete turn off for me, very faraway of the incredible beginning.
