Perhaps the best Lithuanian movie. It is worth being watched by everybody. I am sure that if Lithuania had been free at the time Arunas Zebriunas created this movie, it would have won many international awards. 'Riesutu duona' contains very soft humor, a tender teenage love, life in a small village of Lithuania. No violence, no horror, no erotica. An old good film full of joy, kindness and moral values. Talking about the director, he is the GOD. I admire the style of his movies, they are all (and especially this one) so full of feelings, it looks like he puts all his heart there. You should watch 'Riesutu duona' if you miss the simpleness of life and relationship between people in nowadays movies.
