Fr. Art pressures Mondo to tell Ray the truth about Gina. Keith gives Turlough money for a B&B, unbeknownst to Una. Dolores lets Lara know that her idea to have her child fostered by Dolores and Malachy is not a runner. Then Ursula makes a surprise return to McCoys, furious that her room has been lent to someone who once robbed her! Malachy reluctantly allows Lara to move in with him. Keith continues with his revenge challenge of the 20km cycle race leaving Robin and Sarah in the lurch. Keith musters up the courage to tell Ray that Gina did not survive the crash. Devastated, Ray kicks him out and experiences a health setback. Ray asks to see Turlough. Una and Keith tell Turlough he can stay over at number 41, without even consulting Robin and Sarah. Louie drives Yvonne and Geraldine demented with his new ideas for the bistro. Robin meanwhile takes a shine to Louie.

Christy is very uncomfortable that Lara has moved in with himself and his cousin Malachy. Keith and Una bicker over her plans to celebrate Turlough's birthday. Ray tries to give Turlough a birthday gift of money but Turlough turns it down. At his party, Turlough buys a large round saying he won money on the horses. Keith is annoyed, thinking Turlough should pay him back the 100Euro he lent him before splashing his cash around the local. At the party, Turlough and Renee bond over their respective bereavements. Jo attacks Barry over the way his accident was covered in the Northside Post. Jo later tells Barry he's getting off lightly. Barry's return to work unsettles Sarah and Duncan. Barry is then blanked by all at McCoys. Louie decides his best bet is to divide and conquer Yvonne and Geraldine.

Renee discusses her grief over Floyd with Bob. Renee visits Ray who gives all the credit for his recovery to Turlough but Renee is sceptical. Turlough says he's no huckster and that Renee needn't come wheedling him to contact her deceased son, Floyd. Renee calls into Phelans and speaks of communicating with dead people. Bob becomes concerned about Renee's state of mind. Malachy suggests Christy's coldness may have driven Lara away. Lara feels the attraction of her old world beckoning when she runs into Zumo. Christy apologises to Lara when he sees her again. When she hears Barry plans to write his own account of the accident, Jo scoffs. Barry challenges Jo to write the article herself. Geraldine feels further isolated by the lack of Dean's support at the bistro. Louie tries to put Yvonne and Geraldine in their place. Sarah challenges Keith to get Turlough out of their apartment, number 41.

Renee asks Turlough to join her for a family meal which Bob can't attend because he is working! Heather berates her mother for this bizarre invitation, and threatens to explode if Turlough mentions Floyd. At the lunch, Turlough thinks he gets a sign from a red haired aunt of Heather's but finds himself way off base. Later, Renee offers Turlough money and he feigns outrage. Ali fails to notice the instant attraction between Kylie and Daithi. Later, Daithi asks Kylie for her number. Kylie tries to dampen Ali's enthusiasm for Daithi but is unsuccessful. Kylie gives into temptation and meets Daithi for coffee. Niamh fails to persuade Caitriona to attend Gina's month's mind. Caitriona tells Niamh she wants to move in with Orla. Louie continues to cramp Geraldine and Yvonne's style, making them wear t-shirts emblazoned with The Hungry Pig.

Louie gives a pep talk to staff including Cleo and Dean prior to the opening of The Hungry Pig but Geraldine and Yvonne are underwhelmed. Louie breaks the news that he plans to hire a manager as his 'eyes and ears'. He also offers to buy Geraldine out. Renee's apology - for offering Turlough money - is rejected and he revels in the moral high ground. Renee and Bob argue over Turlough again. Renee confides her distress to Christy. Christy tells Bob he's worried about Renee's mental health. Ali suspects Kylie disapproves of Daithi, but there's more to it than that. Ali happens on Daithi flirting with Kylie at the community centre. Ali begins to wonder if he's avoiding her. Kylie insists Daithi clear the air with Ali before she will have anything more to do with him. Christy gives Carol grief about her smoking habit.

Carol tells Christy he's a hypocrite because he sells cigarettes. Bela offers to give up with Carol. Daithi asks Kylie out on a date. Kylie reiterates that he has to talk to Ali first but shows a chink in her armour later and winds up sleeping with him. Bela and Carol agree to a final smoke session before giving up together. Christy complains to Louie about The Hungry Pig clientele. Geraldine is fazed by the downmarket vibe of The Hungry Pig burger joint. Yvonne encourages Geraldine to sell and tells Louie Geraldine is very tempted. Geraldine rejects an offer of 90K. Bob tells Christy that Renee is obsessed by Turlough and that he would almost welcome Turlough back, to console Renee. Christy asks Turlough to give Renee some peace of mind. Turlough plies Christy for information.

Turlough tells Renee he needs 5,000 euros for his website. Turlough gets closer to the story that Brendan practised euthanasia on Floyd. Renee freaks Brendan out when she tells him Floyd wants to make peace with him from beyond the grave. Renee tries to get Turlough's bank details from Una. Turlough waylays Brendan and gives him a creepy message "from Floyd". Daithi urges Kylie to be discreet before they 'go public' covering that he hasn't told Ali. Carol has a smoking relapse. Christy makes her feel guilty. Christy smashes Charlie's valuable vase when he finds out Carol has been using it as an ashtray. Yvonne is crestfallen when Geraldine won't sell. Denzo Bishop causes a little trouble at The Hungry Pig. Bob organises a family meeting about staging an intervention with Christy, Heather and Brendan. Brendan urges caution as he is terrified Turlough will expose his role in Floyd's death. Bob tells Turlough he is not welcome in McCoy's. Renee tells Bob their relationship is over if he doesn't get Turlough back.

Renee blames Bob for driving Turlough out of town and depriving her of her one comfort since Floyd's death. Brendan quizzes Christy as to whether he told Bob about the nature of Heather and Floyd's relationship. Heather wonders if Brendan is allowing Turlough to get to him. Ali tells a guilty Kylie that Daithi is giving her the runaround. Daithi tries to make amends with Kylie and she invites him around to her place at the same time as secretly inviting Ali over for a showdown. Bela relapses in his quest to give up smoking. Carol doesn't know so she presses him on what his secret to staying strong is. Meanwhile Christy holds Bela up as a shining example to Carol. Geraldine tells Cleo she is determined to sell her share in the Hungry Pig, even at a loss. Louie informs Geraldine that his offer to buy her out is no longer on the table. Renee is overjoyed when Turlough walks back into McCoy's saying he's been on a retreat. Renee insists on giving Turlough the 5,000 euros he rejected before. He finally accepts and she is thrilled.

Bob calls Renee on withdrawing the 5,000 euro from their joint account. Bob says he's going to reclaim the money from Turlough. Bob threatens Turlough that he will expose him as a fraudster. Ringo and Cliodhna have just moved into a place in Carrigstown together but domestic bliss is short-lived as Cliodhna is driven demented by Ringo's drum practice. Cliodhna Norris is the sister of Una and Turlough but her relationship with her brother is tense as she suspects him of being mercenary and manipulative. Ray complains to Ringo that he's going stir crazy in hospital and then finds out he is due to be discharged. Ray hatches a plan to escape but Ringo catches him and gives him a good talking to. Louie noses around Phelan's shop, questioning Christy who does not at first suspect that Louie may be planning new acquisitions to his empire. Louie and Yvonne start flirting for real.

Renee consults Turlough about a dream she had, which she suspects may be Floyd trying to contact her. Heather confronts Turlough on the matter of the 5,000 euros. Turlough manages to unsettle Heather from her moral high ground. Turlough gives the 5,000 euros back to Bob, much to Bob's astonishment. Cliodhna is sick of Ringo's incessant drumming but he tells her being a musician is as central to his identity as being a nurse. Una advises Cliodhna to park her exercise bike in front of the drum kit and beat Ringo at his own game. Louie floats the idea of selling Phelan's past Christy. Yvonne is jealous of the flirtation between Robin and Louie. Geraldine informs Yvonne she has found another job. Ray begs Keith to get him out of hospital. Niamh, Paul and Keith discharge Ray and get him settled into the Cassidy residence. Sean gets riled up about having to live with Ray and Turlough. Paul finds out Sean is being hostile to Ray and tries to counsel Sean. Paul also becomes aware that Ray may be clinically depressed.

Cleo spots Renee being transfixed by a white feather and worries Renee may be losing her marbles. Ray struggles to communicate with Sean, realising the lad is a stranger to him. Angela clashes with Sean over his behaviour. Niamh consoles Sean, telling him she will give Turlough notice to move out as soon as possible and give him some space. Sean lashes out at Ray, devastating him. Confounded by the feather incident, and the return of his five grand, Bob pleads with Brendan and Heather for help. Brendan suggests Renee see a bereavement counsellor but Renee is offended. Bob begins to crack under the strain because he fears he is losing Renee. Bob unleashes his fury on Turlough. Cliodhna and Ringo continue to bicker over their different visions for a shared home until Cliodhna has a brainwave. Yvonne advises Geraldine to look for a settlement from Louie when she leaves to take up her new job. Yvonne decides to play hardball with Louie and threatens to take him to court over ownership rights in The Hungry Pig.

Ray confides miserably to Niamh and Paul that he has taken Sean's comments to heart and now fully blames himself for Gina's death. Paul tries to intervene with Sean but Christy proves more successful. Bob's romantic gesture to Renee for Valentine's Day falls on deaf ears. Renee asks Turlough if she can move in with him to get some space but Turlough insists that she go back to Bob and work things out. Bob is confounded when Renee informs him of this. Geraldine makes a comment about Yvonne having given up her own child in the past, which Louie overhears. Later, Louie inveigles Robin into telling him that Yvonne's child was Richard Ashton's, not Mike's, and that she left that child in Australia. Louie treats this information lightly in front of Robin but takes pleasure in revealing his new cards to Yvonne later. Turlough tells Ray that Gina is waiting for him on the other side. Ray fixates on this and seriously considers suicide. Sean finds him recording a suicide note on tape and they share a cathartic moment that may pave the way to reconciliation.

Carol moans to Christy and Malachy that life is passing her by. Sean reluctantly confides in Christy and Carol about Ray's botched suicide attempt. Carol decides to tell Angela about Ray. Angela tries to pep-talk Ray but is unsuccessful. Ray resists Brendan's help when Brendan urges him to seek counseling, and tries to find out more about Turlough's role in Ray's feeling suicidal. When Brendan finally lets Turlough have it, Turlough threatens him that he will live to regret it. Louie's solicitor verifies that Yvonne has a legitimate claim to Mike's estate. Louie urges him to dig deeper for more dirt on Yvonne. Robin and Louie enjoy their flirtation and seem well matched.
