Happy Hooker finds true happiness
lor_16 June 2022
This mediocre porn movie typically glorifies the work of a call girl, as played lackadaisically by Amber Lynn. Its script by Dale Martin and direction by Ned Morehead (spelled Moorehead on screen) are poor.

Much footage is devoted to a dumb subplots involving corrupt politicians played by over-the-hill porn stalwarts R. Bolla and Harry Reems. They are clients of Amber's and each is accorded an embarrassing "comedy" scene: Bolla in drag pretending to be a woman for Amber to push around, and Reems on all fours pretending to be an obedient doggy for Amber the dominatrix.

Amber's backstory has her as a Harvard student, a gimmick to support a dumb soap opera subplot of her still in love with perfect Mark (played by handsome Jay Serling). Will she give up her successful career as call girl to move back to Boston to live with Mark? Who cares?

A particularly stupid scene has Mark illogically bedding down with a competing hooker, played by Sahara, giving the movie a bit of interracial sex. It sets up Mark suddenly getting all dramatic when, after getting paid for her sexual services, Sahara has the temerity to disparage her rival Amber.

Filling out the sex content are fellow hookers played by Colleen Brennan and Renee Tiffany; Colleen is also a lesbian lover of Amber's, while Renee is a submissive employee of Amber's who also sexually satisfies Amber on request. Movie wastes Colleen's talent miserably, while Renee is an instantly forgettable starlet from this era giving an unimpressive performance here.
