Robinet cycliste review
JoeytheBrit3 July 2020
An entirely pointless Italian comedy (which, to be fair, may be a fragment of a longer version) in which Spanish comic Marcel Perez causes havoc as a drunken cyclist who collides with every obstacle in his path with tiresome predictability.

Robinet in training for the Giro
kekseksa23 December 2017
I do not think this really exists as such under this French title as a film in its own right. The copy I have seen is I think just a French version of the Ambrosio film Robinet si allena per il giro d'Italia, showing Robinet in training for the Tour of Italy which was itself the first instalment of two films devoted to the "Corsa Rosa" as the Giro d'Italia was called. In 1912 it was the fourth time the cycle race had been run between several Italian cities but beginning in Milan and ending in Bergamo and it took place in several pas between 19 May and 4 June. For the only time in its history it was organised by teams rather than individuals and won by the Atala team composed of Carlo Galetti, Giovanni Micheletto, Eberardo Pavesi and Luigi Ganna, who became known with a certain inevitability as "the four musketeers". History does not record how Robinet fared.....
