Good photography and story. Some of the jokes may be inaccessible to those unfamiliar with the culture. But overall a great movie.

He gets near the beautiful Mastani but Bajirao arrives on the scene and Godbole gets the boot and tumbles out of the cupboard. The next time he is more cautious and chooses 'Shakuntal' because the heroine Shakuntala is alone for most of the story .. The bliss is short lived and after some humorous twists and turns Godbole returns to his mundane life.
