Among the younger lot of actors in Bollywood, Alia Bhatt is the only star who has always pushed herself to limits in portraying her roles on screen. She has been around the film making business since the age of three thanks to her sister Pooja Bhatt. How time flies when you're getting slimed. Ghostbusters turns 32 today, and the titanic influence of this nostalgia totem was obvious even before the upcoming all-female reboot prompted mass fanboy conniptions and the gnashing of Cheetos-stained teeth. To some fans, the attachment is so strong that any discussion of fandom's golden calf takes leave of basic logic. But the legacy of this 1984 juggernaut extends far beyond legions of nostalgic, anonymous misogynists on the Web. Steven Spielberg may have singlehandedly invented the modern blockbuster with Jaws, but nine years later, Ivan Reitman...

Can you believe it’s been nearly fifteen years since the Invasion angle? Fifteen years since Lance Storm showed up on Raw and blasted Perry Saturn with a superkick. Fifteen years since Ecw and WCW joined forces to try and take down Vince McMahon and the WWE. Fifteen years since WWE screwed up the biggest money angle in wrestling history…
How time flies, huh? A lot has happened in WWE in that time, obviously, and the wrestling landscape looks a lot different today. A lot had also happened to those that made up the WCW and Ecw Alliance. Made up of guys and gals from the recently closed companies (although a lot of them had been under WWE contract for some time), the invaders had very different fortunes when it came time for the angle to end – some didn’t even make it that far.

How time flies when you're growing up. Beverly Hills, 90210, the classic Aaron Spelling-produced prime-time teen soap (starring almost no teenagers, natch), premiered on Fox exactly 25 years ago today. Meaning, it's been 25 years since twins Brandon and Brenda Walsh set out for their first day of junior year at West Beverly High—which yes, later magically became their sophomore year—after making the big move from Minneapolis. So down to earth, so unaware of just how differently high school worked in Beverly Hills, so...moussed. Along with the drama, the life lessons, the dating do-si-dos, the backstabbing, the irregularly high number of traumatic deaths among the well-heeled...

It's getting to the point that X-Men: Apocalypse isn't going to have enough screen time for all the mutants who are slated to appear in the film, and it just so happens that one more has been added to the cast. Director Bryan Singer has taken to Instagram yet again to reveal that franchise star Lucas Till, who played the mutant Havok in a pivotal supporting role in X-Men: First Class and a brief appearance in X-Men: Days of Future Past, will be back for the next film in the mutant franchise. There's no indication as to how involved he'll be in this sequel, but this addition really has the potential to make things interesting. How time flies. It might be hard to believe, but “Rushmore” —Wes Anderson’s sophomore feature, and Jason Schwartzman’s first ever screen credit— opened wide sixteen years ago last month. Thanks to a two-part, behind-the-scenes documentary, fans can revisit the making of the film. In the run-up to filming, Anderson asked his brother Eric Chase Anderson to make an electronic press kit for the film. Traditionally, the press crew is only on set for a few days, but Wes asked his brother to remain present for the duration of production. Eric’s sustained presence provided for some entertaining if not earth-shattering cinematic history. Much time is dedicated to the casting of Schwartzman in the role of Max Fischer. “Rushmore is his first movie, and he was discovered after an exhaustive casting search in England, Canada, and the United States,” says Eric Chase Anderson. During the second part of the doc,...

Watch the very-impressive first trailer for Lionsgate's I, Frankenstein directed by Stuart Beattie. "Under the Influence" was my favorite episode of Major Crimes Season 2 so far, as it showcased some of the characters who don't normally enjoy the spotlight.
Detective Sykes even got to do a little flirting. I can remember when she was one of the least liked members of the squad... and now she fits like a glove. How time flies!
It's been a long time (if ever?!) that we've seen Tao and Sanchez have a Provenza and Flynn-style comedic scene, but we were treated to one as script writer Jason Andrews was doing a ride along with Tao and Sanchez in the opening few moments. I loved Jason asking why Sanchez wasn't wearing his seat belt, because it's a law, right? But Sanchez says he needs to get out quick in case of gunfire. But no, not you Jason, because you signed a release for gunshot wounds, not car crashes!

We have all seen a favorite show get cancelled. It’s never fun. How do you beat the axe? Well, any series would do well to take a page out of the current Showtime line-up’s book. Several of the network’s shows have seen record-breaking season premieres. It is no wonder Showtime has handed out renewal requests for new seasons of House of Lies, Californication and Shameless. Cheers!
And you can add the Cinemax drama, Banshee to the list of renewals. We think that’s pretty exciting, too.
This means the David Duchovny starrer, Californication wins a 7th season. Seasons 6 began on Jan. 13 and will feature Marilyn Manson in a guest role. In fact, the music scene figures prominently in the plot. Maggie Grace already dropped by in a guest appearance, which is funny, because we also just saw her in Fox’s The Following.

How time flies! Soon, this very site will be rife again with end-of-year top 10 lists, looking back at the entirety of 2012. Being a lists sort of person (and I know there are more of us here at Twitch who share that trait), I'm already looking forward to it. Beyond that, though, lies the year 2013. What am I looking forward to next year? At the end of its first month there will be a new International Film Festival Rotterdam, where hopefully I'll be seeing The Master. Ehm ... not really a typical 2013 title perhaps. As I said, what am I looking forward to? I wrote almost exactly the same words a year ago, and can easily just redo the whole article: I...

How time flies—Edward Duke Rancic is a month old already! In honor of his first one-twelfth of a year, proud parents Giuliana and Bill Rancic have treated us to another adorable photo of their baby boy. And while we were loving the bathtime look papa Bill shared over the weekend, this time little Edward traded his towel for a onesie meant to both keep him cozy and celebrate his age. "Omc alert! @ENews showing the cutest pic of little Duke tonight!" Giluiana tweeted today. "Took it on his 1-month birthday:) I'm in luv all over again. #OhMyCuteness." Omc, indeed.

The cast of "Melrose Place" had a reunion yesterday in L.A. -- the first time we've seen some of them together since the show went off the air back in 1999.Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton and Josie Bissett all reprised their roles as Amanda Woodward, Sydney Andrews and Jane Mancini, respectively, on The CW's recent reboot of the long-running soap, but yesterday they were joined by some other familiar faces.Grant Show, Laura Leighton, Andrew Shue and, most surprisingly, Marcia Cross were also spotted as the group left a photo shoot on Thursday afternoon. No word on which other cast members were there or which magazine the shoot was for -- but it's likely tied to the fact that it's been 20 years since the show first debuted on Fox back in 1992. How time flies!Check out the gallery above to see how they all look now.Plus, take a look...

Have we really not had a truly epic Vma beef since Kanye went totally Kanye and snatched Taylor Swift‘s mic in 2009? How time flies. Tonight the MTV VMAs honor those artists who have crafted a truly superior piece of visual art to accompany their music. But a well-crafted celebrity feud? Well, that’s even harder to come by. So we went ahead and predicted some fantasy Vma celebrity feuds for them, just to get the ball rolling! It’s like using The Secret, except you probably shouldn’t use The Secret to have someone yank out Lana Del Rey’s weave…

Jackie Shroff whose colourful expletives in a video leaked from 1998 on the internet, has gone viral is also taking legal action. An aunt abuse in Marathi has specially caught the nation's attention.
Jackie who initially laughed away the "archival oddity" as "someone ought to have fun at my cost" has decided to take serious legal action.
Speaking from outside Ajmer Sharif where he has gone to shoot K C Bokadia's latest creation, Jackie says, "I thought I'd just ignore it. If someone out there gets his 15 minutes of glory by using my name so be it. After all these are not words and phrases that are alien to us. We've all grown up hearing and using them. And if anyone wants to act holier-than-thou about them then that's their problem."
Jackie's grievance pertains to the sneaking and underhand way the video was out. "Why after so many years? It's mischievous and uncalled-for.

Whoever invented the Kiss Cam is truly the unsung hero of our time. In addition to making thousands of couples spontaneously smooch on television, he or she also managed to coax a sweetly awkward semi-make out from the lips of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez at the Lakers vs Spurs game last night. Who else has that kind of power? Can any camera be a Kiss Cam, if you insist it loud enough to the other passengers on the F train?
These photos really bring us back to the first time we saw Justin and Selena kiss. Remember their extremely PG-13 vacation in Hawaii last May? And to think, these two have been together for over a year. How time flies when there isn’t some kind of horny camera trained on you 24/7! While the rest of the Staples Center was watching them, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were actually watching the game.

How time flies. It seems like just yesterday (Ok, eight months ago) that we were all marveling at Tyra Banks’ decision to enroll herself in Harvard Business School. Now she’s been through two terms already and is set to graduate in February. So not only was she juggling her America’s Next Top Model duties and writing her debut young-adult novel, Modelland, but she’s also wrapping this up in three semesters?
In an effort to improve the self-esteem of normal human beings, when Tyra stopped by for today’s Big Morning Buzz Live, we had to ask if there was anything actually challenging her in school.
“My most difficult class at Harvard Business School would have to be finance,” she replied. “For the first 30 minutes of the class, I’m raising my hand, I’m all into it, ‘cause it’s...

What I don’t get is that all last season Vinny wouldn’t sleep with Snooki. Now that she is involved in a relationship or quasi-relationship, he decides it’s ok to be with her because she says she’s “done”? In Jersey Shore-Ron/Sam vocabulary, “done” doesn’t mean “finished.” It never means that. Why would Vinny think it does?
Anyway, Snooki calls Jionni to tell him the good news– that her and Vinny went all the way.

See new clips from the remake of Footloose, starring Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough and Dennis Quaid How time flies, from sitting in a theater watching original versions of Karate Kid and Footloose, to revamps, in a heartbeat. Still, life goes on, and we have new TV spots as well as clips in high definition from the latest incarnation helmed by Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow, Black Snake Moan). Footloose opens on October 14th via Paramount Pictures and also stars Ziah Colon, Ray McKinnon, Miles Teller, Ser'Darius William Blain, Patrick John Flueger and Maggie Elizabeth Jones. Ren MacCormack (played by newcomer Wormald) is transplanted from Boston to the small southern town of Bomont where he experiences a heavy dose of culture shock. A few years prior, the community was rocked by a tragic accident that killed five teenagers after a night out and Bomont’s local councilmen and the beloved Reverend Shaw...

Boy, the summer movie season goes fast, doesn't it? It seems like we were just talking about "Thor," "Captain America" and "Cowboys and Aliens," and watching the trailer for "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" for the first time. Now they're over and done, and we're looking into fall and winter. How time flies! Before you know it, we'll be bundled into sweaters and lining up to see "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo." David Fincher's "Tattoo" has only a few images and a trailer to its name, but it's already seen its fair share of controversy. Many fans of the Stieg Larsson's novels feel they shouldn't be made into another movie, particularly since the Swedish versions were so popular and successful. People scream this is an attempt to Americanize the story, or dumb it down or sex it up for mainstream audiences. The first images of...

The terrible twos are officially upon the Teen Mom stars. How time flies.
Not surprisingly, Amber and Gary provided the biggest drama this week on the MTV hit, as Leah's second birthday turned into a divisive, rather than joyous event.
Meanwhile, Ryan continued to act like a jerk about Maci, Kyle and Bentley. Farrah got a dog and Catelynn opened up to her friends about Carly's adoptive parents.
How did it all play out? Follow this link for Thg's Teen Mom recap!

We're nearing the end of the Twilight Saga, a fact which seems to have driven fans into a willing-to-camp-for-a-week frenzy. For the cast, the pressure is now off. "Breaking Dawn" is made, and there's nothing more they can do but present the final passionate product, and hope it satisfies the dedicated readers and watchers of the series. Their relaxation and happiness is evident. When I last encountered the Twilight cast, they were promoting "Twilight: New Moon," and the stress and shock was radiating from them. It was their second visit to ComicCon, and it was obvious that despite the series' popularity, they still weren't expecting to meet shantytowns and screams of Twihards. (Or they were just worn out by them. How can you not be?) Stewart was in full Joan Jett mode, Pattinson ducked out of roundtables, and Lautner was still a newly minted heartthrob dazzled by the attention. Now Pattinson's adjusted,...

Anyone remember that time that Warner Bros. decided it needed another vampire project? That seems like such a long time ago. What? It was actually less than two short weeks? How time flies… But it’s true: the studio clearly thinks there’s room for more fang club action and has picked up Image Comics’ miniseries Undying Love as a possible project.Tomm Coker and Daniel Freedman’s series is a genre mash-up that takes traditional vampire tropes and blends in Chinese monster legends, with just a sprinkling of the Hong Kong action genre as garnish. We’re introduced to an ex-soldier who falls for a young woman. Trouble is, she turns out to be a member of the overly toothy undead brigade and our hero has to journey to the Hong Kong underworld, take on an army of monsters and destroy the vampire who created her in order for...
