franz xaver gernstl shows in his very charming and unobtrusive way how TV can also be in the year 2000. accompanied by a camera he travels in his van to small villages in bavaria. sometimes having and aim, sometimes not. far away from yellow press style he just talks and, even more important, listens to ordinary people on the streets. he meets old people, crazy people and funny people, and is always interested to hear their stories.
