Nic Cramer's "Kiss of the Black Widow" was beyond bad. He shot it on film -bravo for that- but rarely have I witnessed such an underachievement.
The sex scenes, some with condom, some bareback, are desultory, and in later reels they and the characters involved are thrown in without introduction, just pure generic sex filler.
The plot line is so brief and shallow it can be summed up simply and thoroughly as just Asia Carrera, with her big boobs, not the original AC, in title role as a hit lady offing U.S. Senators while pursued poorly by fellow hit-man Randy Spears. That's it.
One of the senators, who she lets live after snapping incriminating photos of him in the sack with a prostitute, is played by a bald, unrecognizable Jon Dough, who I didn't spot until the end credits. Dough was the best Adult actor of his generation and here we have him thrown away in a nothing gonzo role. Same is true of the attractive supporting cast of femmes, one of whom (a misspelled Kiki D'Aire) is misplaced when it comes to the identifying end credits though well-billed up front.
And those end credits are remarkable for porn, listing almost 100 people, phony names and all, when so many far better XXX features have no credits at all. After suffering through this trash, which has one of the more insulting endings I've seen recently, I thought this was one that deserved to have credits removed.
