WWF Super Wrestlemania
Terryfan5 September 2015
WWF Super Wrestlemania is the first LJN World Wrestling Federation game and unlike it sequels this game has little to nothing to offer to make it worth your while.

The game was release on both the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo. The main different is the roster on the Super Nintendo has more wrestlers. The Super Nintendo Exclusive Wrestlers are Jake "The Snake" Roberts, The Undertaker, Sid Justice, The Legion of Doom, and The Natural Disasters

The Sega Genesis Exclusive wrestlers are The Ultimate Warrior, Papa Shango, Irwin R. Schyster, The British Bulldog and Shawn Michaels

The only wrestlers shared between versions are Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Ted DiBiase.

The Graphics in the game are decent at best and LJN would reuse this engine for the sequel games which improve.

The controls in the game only work when it feels like it

The Sound effects are good and the only rewarding thing about this game is the music is good to listen to.

Game Play just feels broken when you do play the game it just feels like a weaken state of a game.

So the results are the game is good to listen to but not that great to play

Only get it if you're a collector and or you're a fan of the WWF.

I give WWF Super Wrestlemania an 4 out of 10

Back in its day, it was good.

By today's standards this game hasn't aged that well, especially the snes version. The old snes missed out on finishing moves for some reason, and the Ultimate Warrior.

It was the first WWF game released for the 16-bit era. Had it not been for its unhanced version successors, the game would remain ok, by by comparison to the sequels Royal Rumble and Raw, its the weakest of them.

Mostly due to barley any selectable modes to be played where this one only has one on one, tag and survivor (4 on 4)... I don't think it even had a career mode?

It was great for the day, but once Royal Rumble came along, this one became boring and didn't age well against it, well, not the snes version anyway that lacked any special moves compared to the Genesis version leaving you with characters that all have the exact same limted, but generic moves to preform.

WWF Super Wrestlemania!

WWF Super Wrestlemania is one of the most exciting video games! The wrestlers, the action, the fighting, and the sure thrill of excitement makes this game a fun non-stop playing time! Below is a brief look how I think the game is!

Game Play: The game play is very good. There is really basic controls here and is easy to perform. Novice gamers should have a good time here!

Graphics: The graphics are wonderful especially for the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis Systems! The backgrounds are really beautiful!

Difficulty: The game is easy but as it goes on you find out that it will become more difficult!

Music: The music is great! Just fantastic catchy tunes through out the game! In My opinion its some of the best music ever in a video game!

Sound: The sound is great. Nuff said!

Overall: I have always loved WWF Super Wrestlemania! If you like wrestling and sports games then I strongly recommend you play this game!
