Poetry from different angles
DaWholeEffinShow7 April 2004
This movie combines two things I love, so maybe I will be a bit biased. Teaching and poetry can go hand-in-hand, and they do in this film. It is a showcase of 2 teachers trying to teach poetry to 2 very different classes.

One group is in the middle of the city and have a highly urban feel to their words. On the flipside, the suburban prep school students use their words to portray the things that they are used to. When the two classes come together for a project, sparks fly. You can only write about what you know, what you've seen, and what you've experienced. That is exactly what the people in the movie do.

I enjoyed it and if you are a fan of poetry, so will you.
