Patrizia Ortmann is looking for a home, assisted by Stockl and Marie Hofer, and stumbles upon the scissors-stabbed corpse of real estate agent Klaus Hai, while an unidentified man flees the site. Sven Hansen and Korbinian Hofer's first suspect is struggling rival agent Josef Hartinger, who needed a disputed sale to avoid bankruptcy. Tenents association chairman Martin Fratschner sued Hai for irregularities and was at the site that time, yet Stockl brings a surprising blackmail clue. Sven Hansen is unpleasantly surprised as his bothersome father, businessman Olaf Hansen, arrives in Rosenheim for a week and expects Sven's attention, pushing Patricia as first 'acceptable' date. Chief Gert Achtziger gets Marie apply as executive director under him at the Music academy by pointing out the despised alternative, so Korbinian fears more farm chores.

History museum executive Peter Merser is skull-smashed with a Celtix ax. He was unpopular, allegedly outdated, had an affair with a colleague's wife and stood in the way of a promotion. With Korbinian Hofer visiting a friend in Vienna, Tobias Hartl must interim-assist Christian Lind, but still homeless Tobias's own suitcases worry the colleagues.

Street artist Sebastian Störmer was beaten to death in early morning, found besides his latest drawing in an arcade. Sven Hansen and Florian Prantle learn it's a former police robot picture draftsman, who resigned discredited although popular in the precinct. Tobias Hartl hasn't solved any cases yet, but now contributes a crucial observation, as some of Basti's drawings worried bank robbers.

Entrepreneur Eberhard Fels dared not inform the police of his wife Charlotte's kidnapping, as the abductors threatened to kill her, just puts up the hefty ransom. Next morning, his corpse is found fatally shot in a meadow, the million in cash gone. Sven and Korbinian must follow the money, the family and Eberhard's uncooperative right hand Ferdinand Anschütz.

Enterpreneur Eckardt Ziesler was fatally poisoned during a literally blind dinner in restaurant 'Blind Cow'. Sven and Korbinian have little to go on as for opportunity, so concentrate on possible motives among restaurant staff and other guests, mostly the victim's business associates, including rivaling suppliers.

Popular butcher Josef Burgmüller got a fatal cardiac arrest while freezing to death in his own cooling room. Sven Hansen and Korbinian find it was fatal sabotage. Innkeeper Stefan Hilbinger furiously accused him of delivering bad meat, his staff refers to the slaughterhouse. Son Ludwig opted for college against father's wish to continue the family firm and has an inconclusive party alibi. Meanwhile budget details oppose Ortmann to Stockl and keep Achziger home, so he must delegate Marie to speech for the academy at a Brahms event in Hamburg.

Dr. Karl Zilles's wife was fatally shot in their villa, which she inherited, allegedly by a robber, but nothing was stolen. Sven and Korbinian investigate the crooked marriage with significant others. They also find the missing weapon most interesting, as it was used in an earlier armed bank robbery, the ex-con being meanwhile paroled and around. Meanwhile Achziger needs to put up young guest musicians for the academy, and has no better sound proof practice space then the precinct basement gun range.
