The best Eurovision show in the history of the contest so far!

I'm a big Eurovision fan, have been following it since 1980, have most of the shows on DVD, even from the late 1950's, but this particular show from Jerusalem in 1999 is by far the most beautiful show in the history of the contest! It was Israel's 3rd time winning the contest (they last won the contest two years in a row in 1978 and 1979), in this 1999 show Israel really placed the show on a high standard that no other country managed to pass yet! They had the most beautiful stage so far, and they were also the first to have 3 hosts and made it so smoothly and professionally... The intro videos before each song were animation of the Bible stories combined with real footage of modern day Israel, brilliant production that was just stunning to watch. The highlight of the evening was when Dana International was just about to give the winner the prize, which was a big and heavy statue, and fell with it on the stage... You can't get more camp than that!!! Also pay attention to the Spanish singer who came up to the stage with a dress made of the Gay Rainbow flag or something like that... My favorite in this show is from Croatia with the song "Maria Magdalena" by Doris. Well done Israel!
