I only have very vague memories of the original Atomic Ant show, but this short (Part of the Cartoon Network "Groovies" bumpers that channel used to have back then in the 2000s) had a very creative visual style which I always liked.
Turns out it was directed by Jonas Odell, the same director of music videos like Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out" and "Right Action", as well as very interesting experimental shorts as "Tussilago".
He also directed the "Jabberjaw" and "Josie and the Pussycats: Musical Evolution", but I think this might be the best of said series, with its clever use of imagery and audio (Taken from "Duck and Cover") to create an updated version of the Atom Ant theme.
A very clever take on a classic character.
