It is not a powerful picture, but interesting

A new device by which one can see as well as hear through the telephone has been invented by the hero of this story. The heroine is in love with him, but her father objects, laughing to scorn the young inventor's claims. But burglars break into this man's house and the inventor's device is brought, by chance, into circuit with the room where they are working at the safe. This gives the inventor, who sees them, a chance to make good. It is well made, clearly drawn and well photographed. It is not a powerful picture, but interesting and likely to be popular. Messrs. Sackville and Pollard and Misses Fisher and Crolius play it. - The Moving Picture World, June 22, 1912
