Cricket
boblipton19 March 2017
According to the British Film Institute -- I just looked at this 140-second movie on their Youtube site -- this is the oldest known film to feature cricket. The action is pretty much as described in the title and its age is one of the two points of interest about it.

The other is that this is an Indian prince who played for Sussex and for England for several years. There are a couple of other films showing the Prince at cricket. In 1907 he ascended to his throne, becoming Maharajah Jam Sahed of Nawanager.

The quality of the print on Youtube is not very good; the Prince's face is not visible.
