I saw this film in Paris, in the newly built aquarium near to the Eiffel tower. I wasn't expecting to see a number of short animation films while looking at the glorious fish but that's what you get.
It's a lovely film a short animation that is completely unique and heart warming. The idea of a man living alone in his air balloon is interesting and original. He steals rubbish from people's bins at night and turns them into objects of beauty. One day he is caught in the act and surprises himself by falling in love, from a distance. There is no dialogue but the emotions shown in this short film are sweet and very real and I cared enough about it to seek it out here and write about it, a first.
