I have only seen a small number of these episodes, some in Italian and some in German, neither of which I understand to a great level.
Therefore I was forced to watch what happens and to be perfectly honest, it all seems to work out quite well without the commentary. Having said this it would be nice to know what the commentary is saying as it may explain some of the strange sporting things you see on the screen.
We already know what the sport featured is for each episode, but how well do non-Italians and non-Germans know Mr. Rossi? This series is worth watching if you ever get the chance, but it's nowhere near as good as the short Mr. Rossi films which were made in the sixties.
