The documentary about Vietnam that everyone should see
danietwit7 January 2014
I wasn't born in the USA, im not even from the USA. Didn't fought any war, i don't even know how to old a weapon. But what i do know is that any war makes many people suffer. The waste of human life and limbs as some surgeon says in this documentary.

Im an history teacher and was looking for a documentary to show in class. In my country kids don't get much history about the Vietnam era. Which is a shame in my opinion. So i try to change that with the little time i have to show them wat suffer in war really is.

I showed my class this documentary last year. And they were all quiet for a whole hour. I never had them all quiet that long. But they were all so overwhelmed by it.

This docu should be viewed by every single human being. Its philosophic journey through a hard time of a young person that fought in a war he could never fully understood.

I hope he is doing just fine. I even searched for his house on 826 Forest Street Stevens Point Wisconsin. Thats the place he comes home at the end of the docu.

Im surprised no one else reviewed this film.
