It isn't up there with Kurosawa's Rashoman, but it is very interesting, definitely worth watching. It is many things all at once, a parody and a fake of century old silent movies and also Steampunk. It is a the story of a vampire slayer on another world named Aerreus Kane who rescues his friend's daughter from a (what else) evil vampire type spirit. Yet, what else is it? Definitely there is more here. Is it a tale of good and evil? Is it a tale of madness? There is far more than is obvious the first time.
